The Studio always smells like food on wednesday...

The year 2000 marked a weird time in music and with this 10 year period almost over I feel like I need to talk about some of the music from it. See I live in a world of bands that you've never heard and then a world that is popular music. With that being said I get that band of horses is part of the culture dripping in through the cracks of commercials and movies but will never sell out a stadium. Which leads me to how music has sort of been over the last ten years and my big question...

What Band of the 2000's is a band that is going to stand the test of time?

Personally when I look back at the 90's and you take in the Pearl Jam and the Smashing Pumpkins, Weezer's and No Doubt, The Foo Fighters and Stone Temple Pilots. All those bands are rock bands that are going to rival many of your classic rock bands these days. Even a Blink 182 and Green Day is going to be super popular for years to come and they are pop punk bands.
I believe there are even more I can name from the 90's that really are rock acts that will last.

Then I'm left with the 2000's and what bands will really stand up out of the 2000's. Who are you going to get out of the 2000's as a real legit rock band.

The first band of the 2000's that really jumps out at me is The Killers. The Killers are a real rock band. Sure they have some pop bleed over but many rock bands have in the past and you don't blame a band for being popular. As a matter of fact that's what this whole blog is about who is the band that is going to be the band that leads rock and roll. The next band I lean to think is Paramore. With one obscure album and 2 hit albums they are on their way to being No Doubt. And I know I KNOW!!! Is that me making that jump because they have a female singer. Of course it is.

Other than that who can I believe in? I mean Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance are pretty strong choices. Sure to be fair the 90's bands have had like 10 to 15 years to build a rep.

I mean maybe its how music is now. I'm not sure.

Can't I get a win here...

This season was supposed to be super good if you are a bills fan like me. Last season we had a decent year and then in the off season we got T.O. and while he is a trainwreck he is still a good player. Lynch was coming into his own as a running back and I had totally put all my faith into one Trent Edwards. And this weekend sort of put the whole getting my hopes up into perspective. The Bills lost to the Cleveland Browns in a 3 to 6 game.

WHAT THE FUCK THE CLEVELAND BROWNS!!!

Derek Anderson went 2 of 17. FUCKING 2 of 17!!! 2 of FUCKING 17!!!!!!!! And you some how lost. Oh and T.O. he had a season high 4 catches for 44 yards! And a special thanks to Lee Evans for his 2 catches for 11 yards.

Look I'm not the guy that is going to give up on the Bills or Trent Edwards. I mean 1-4 isn't the end of the world but it is the same record as Oakland, Detroit, and the Cleveland Browns who are better based on the fact that they beat the Bills head to head. GOD DAMMIT! The Bills are God Awful. Alright I'm going to take drink a red bull and shout at that picture of the Cleveland Brown above this...

Before I do I feel like one last thing had to be brought up and it is the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks...

FUCKING HELL WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? I'm colorblind and I get how awful these look. Is this how its going to be its going to be a race to the worst uniform in sporting history? I mean these were no picnic and don't back them eagles fans...

I can only hope someone has something uglier hidden in the world...

Mauled By a Tiger?

Ever ebay the word weird stuff? Yep it is a lot of fake dog poop. Seriously its out of hand. Then odd and creepy stuff doesn't help either. When I type in weird stuff on ebay I want 70's table lamps that look like legs and posters of monkeys knife fighting. But nope just fake dog poop...

So my obsession with Domo keeps on keeping on.

Honestly how rad is this thing? Now I have to sell out to buying things on the internet.

I mean look at it fucking that city up. Also I found a belt buckle...

And since I am in dire need of a belt buckle well then I think I just solved my own problem.

And with that I see giant crabs all around me...

As you know by now I've been really really into the whole pitchfork list and it will take me a little bit to come down from loving it. But in this list there is also the years in music broken up. One of the craziest things that has ever happened in music in my life time was a band giving in to not selling records.

See kids I'm a big fan of actually owning some of my music. A hard copy. Maybe its because I haven't found a way to sell out to the ipod thing but that's how I live. In 2007 we've been stealing music off the internet for how long now? Yeah I know since the some of you were born. I mean honestly it is all some of you know.

Then Radiohead did it. They made it in their heads that it was over I guess. They put the album in rainbows out by themselves and put it up online and you could pay whatever price you wanted for it. Now at the same time they released it on vinyl and in a collectors edition with art work and stuff you couldn't get for the pick your own price detail but most people aren't die hard radiohead fans so a free album was a free album.

So why do this? Why stop trying to sell records? Maybe its because Radiohead is a band that gets that things change and people are going to take it anyways but Yorke said something interesting about the album. That people find music extremely valuable. So this leads me to believe that people must have bought it. I know my friend gave 5 dollars for it. I mean that's more than most people threw down.

Also I've heard rumors that this is the last tour radiohead is doing. I mean I got to see them and they did no surprises which is hands down the best radiohead song to hear when you just don't have anything left in you. Seriously it will make you want to kill yourself.

So why do I buy record? Why go to the record store? Because I feel like there is something to finding a cd putting in my cd player and hearing it for the first time. Also hunting down cds is fun. I've been looking for the new her space holiday cd for a year now when I could steal. Mostly cause girls don't date me but also because there is still a joy in finding a record you've really been looking for...

Oh well one day all records will be gone I assume until then keep it loud and keep it rocking...

I've always thought about getting the tattoo from Pete & Pete

Alright Narwhals...

Seriously its a fucking whale with a fucking tusk. Do you see this shit? The say the tusk doesn't do anything really but act as a like the mane of a lion. Sometimes sure a female has been know to have a tusk and sometimes a narwhal will get two tusks but both are very very rare. So seriously look this thing up and enjoy how fucking weird it is!

El Monstero isn't spanish for Monster?

So I know it was weeks ago now and I know I'm late to the party of posting these but seriously they crack me up. At this point we all know Kanye West was either hilario or out of line when he interrupted that girl who's eyes are really far apart Taylor Swift. Well this event caused people to make great pictures on the internet and I am going to share them with you now...

Turns out this is all I wanted to blog about today. Soooo enjoy it! And hey start calling more jerks. 927 1027 keep it loud and all that...

Simon Belmont was awful at Jumping...

So Zombieland came out this weekend and it was just about everything I wanted and a little bit more. Zombieland of course a heart warming tale of the end of the world caused by a plague that causes other people to eat other people. Now anyone at this point knows that I'm super into Zombies. They are kind of my thing.

Anyways Zombieland even better for me because a nerd guy is the one living through the Zombie nightmare. Also seriously you put Woody Harrelson is something like this and I'm so down. Now look I could go into a bunch about the movie spoiling parts of it for you. Turns out I'm just not that guy. I won't ruin the awesome guest in this movie that cracked me up. I won't ruin my fave Zombie kills.

But this does bring me to talking about zombies and one of the greatest zombie things in the world. ZOMBIES ATE MY NEIGHBORS. It was a game for sega and snes. And it was RAD! Seriously it put you into a campy horror movie from the 50's and had you fight off zombies and mad men with chainsaws.

It is seriously a reason to go back and get your hands on a sega. It and Joe Montana's Sports Talk Football. Trust me if you've never played zombies ate my neighbors then you missed out on a huge part of living. And these days with roms and the like I'm sure you can go online and in 20 minutes be playing it. But if you do get it tell me and forward it too me honest I want to play it again super bad! Well I feel like this blog had very little content except to push you to do two things. Alright party people I'm out for now!

Sometimes I can't figure out how i don't time travel yet...

Right next to the studio as many of you may know is a 7 11 that I go to often. It is a staple of my day walking over to the sev getting something that is on that hotdog treadmill and getting either a arizona iced tea or a slurpee not big deal. Well the other day I went to walk in and saw a little guy I've seen on the internet a ton but never really gave much thought. It was this lil guy...

His name is Domo. I know you knew about it years ago. Look so did I. It being at sev sparked my interest again. Making my new gimmick taking pictures of it and sending them to my friends. Then on top of that I found some awesome internet pictures.

So yeah look if you know where I can get one I would love you forever. Or if you are crafty and make me one I'll get you an awesome JSE prize pack. It is the most RAD THING EVER! Seriously I know I'm 12 years old I know.

I can't wait to be greyed...

Over the past week I've been obsessed with a list from the Internet. Mostly because it lists for the most part bring up a little talk. The lists are the best videos, songs, and albums of the 2000's.

Go to pitchfork.com at the moment it is at the top of the page. And like all lists it is always up for discussion. But I want to start by talking about some of these albums from time to time because they do in fact mean a lot to me. And though the albums list isn't finished until tomorrow I felt it important to start on this tonight. Mostly because I've got some time to kill before I drive out to the blue marlin.

Album 29 is an album by Bon Iver. A band that is basically Justin Vernon. See I love this album one because the music really hits a chord with me. I mean there is just a feeling a vibe to it that I can't really explain with out you listening to it with me(and trust me if you are down enough one night call me and I'll sit in a parking lot and let you hear all it has to offer.) But on top of being an amazing piece of music it has become almost the stuff legends are made of. Those of you out of the loop let me let you in on this folk tale. Justin Vernon had lost his band, his girl, and was fighting off a nasty spat with mono and pneumonia when he moved from Raleigh NC back to his home state of Wisconsin. He slipped into his father's cabin and was bedridden with his sickness at the time.

So he had taken to watching Northern Exposure on DVD to pass the time. In one of the episodes after the first snow fall everyone wished each other Bon Iver. Which in french means good winter. Well in any case while sitting in the cabin slowly a record was built in him. With that a slow self release was made and put out even though he never really had ever had the plan of putting it out there. So there it was an album about breaking up with someone and being sick. I mean it was crazy good. And honestly if you've never heard it you're doing yourself a real disservice and you should saddle up and give it a try. The offer stands to listen to it with me just email me.

Well all that being said that is my take on album number 29. But in contrast of something so simple and stripped down with a simple message of being broken I feel the record at 171 is just as important. It is a record by The Go! Team from 2004 called Thunder, Lightning, Strike.

This album is the opposite in many ways of Bon Iver's For Emma For Ever Ago. Thunder, Lightning, Strike is a feel good dance record with more songs on it than you'd ever guess you'd know. Mostly because car companies like the fact that they are almost an instrumental act. With hip hop elements that bleed in and out and splashes of cheer leading that is then mixed with amazing indie rock grooves that you wouldn't think would work out on paper but I often feel like blows my mind. On top of all of it it was honestly one of the greatest live shows I've ever seen. I mean a crowd wall to wall in the Troc not able to move much at all but all getting down like it was their jobs. Yes my friends it is in fact a dance record in my life. This is another situation where if you need this record tell me lets work something out. So that's 2 of the 200 that are on the list that I'm talking about.
Check out Bon Iver and the GO! Team and remember to keep it loud and KEEP IT ROCKING!!!

A Battle Royal In Your Heart...I wish Bon Jovi wrote that.

As you may or may not know at this point I have a little bit of a thing for flash games. For example when I'm not talking on the air 64% chance I am playing a flash game. These one of these has been consuming my time as of late...

Play Games at AddictingGames

I suggest one you have a mouse and if you have a mouse then check it out. Then we will trade info on it. Super good. The other thing that has been going on is broadcasting live from the Susquehanna Bank Center. I wanted to say thanks to everyone that comes up says hi to me while I hang out and do the live broadcast thing. I hope to see more of you at Blink 182 and Weezer and of course the two sexy DMB shows coming up super soon. Keep it loud and keep it rocking party people!

Skybridge being built as we Speak!

So what does one blog about at this point. I don't know. But I figured I'd drop something here because I haven't in a hot while. I went shopping last night at hot topic. DON'T be that guy. I like shirts at Hot Topic and sometimes you fine a super good steal. Like last night for 15 bucks. I found this...

Amazing right? I know and for 15 bucks a total steal. So now is a waiting game to see what absurd places I can wear it too. And I didn't get it because I think its hilario. I got it because I actually listen to N.W.A. It is pretty fantastic.
In other news I got my hands on Rock Band 2 and its the most fun you can have with I don't know plastic instruments. In any case I spent 20 bucks on a PSN card to download some sexy extra songs. And I'm pretty sure all it taught me was that I could be the lead singer of Jimmy Eat World. Also I couldn't sing for Paramore.
Seriously singing on rockband really just shows you how little you know of the lyrics of some of your favorite songs. Sure I fucked up Modest Mouse. I thought I was awesome. I mean how many times have I heard "Float On" at work. A million did I know any of the words. I guess maybe the part where it is "we all float on alright". Thanks Rock Band for making me feel stupid.

Arby's get over it you don't make burgers.

So last Thursday night I had my first big contest. I had Flogging Molly Tickets to give away and instead of just letting caller number 7 win them I figured maybe we can have some fun. A girl named Tina stepped up to the plate to help out the show.

What we did was we had the lovely Tina rub her breasts on the mic and from there we had guys call in and guess her bra size. Now look I'm not bra expert. But you'd be surprised how many dudes didn't know there was a number involved with bras. But what are you going to do. Well after a ton of calls we pulled in a winner and they walked away with a 4 pack of Flogging Molly tickets for last Friday. Check out these awesome pics from the show...

Tina was a really good sport about the whole game and she also won tickets to see Flogging Molly. Don't think I would make a girl rub her boobs on a mic and let her walk away empty handed. We will be doing plenty more stuff like this and if you want to be involved don't be scared to send me an email mark.thompson@jserocks.com. Thanks to everyone that helped out Tina and of course Angel for being my guy and taking pictures. Remember to keep it loud and keep it rocking party people!

Charlie Sheen owes me money from an NCAA Pool I did 2 years ago!

So it is already Wednesday and I've still not got myself right from all the wackiness that was the weekend. I mean Thursday night at Midnight we did the Watchmen jawn. Which by the way is awesome and full of cg blue wang. Is that a formula for a great movie? CG Blue wang+Superheroes=Great movie? I don't know but I loved the movie and its crazy how good it is to sticking true to the book. So after being wiped out from that we had the running of the fictional character of the month at the trop.

Now this was an awesome night full of partying and just having an all around good time with those wacky guys from the morning show. Oh you know Jojo and Scotty! Yep it was sort of the bomb but when I knew the night had really taken off was with this...

Oh YES! After years of wanting an asian to sell out and kiss me BEHOLD! Now look I have no problem telling you its a little weird how into asian girls I am but everyone has their thing. Look I don't judge you for ordering your wife via the internet! Anyways Saturday night was the bomb! I had a blast and the next time we run something you better saddle up and get out there. Hey don't forget to listen to me this week I've got your sexy chance for Papa Roach Tickets. Remember to keep it loud and KEEP IT ROCKING PARTY PEOPLE!!!

Watch Out Here Comes the Thunder!

So here it is the first blog in a hot while because in fact I have been super busy. You know the whole radio gig you're always out and about! Like we did the dubliner not too long ago. Pretty fun bar with good food and the whole crowning of the king of the dubliner contest going down. You should check that out its a lot of fun. Also we did a broadcast from Mainland Fitness. Which if I weren't so content being a lump I'd go to that gym. Then tonight we're got the Imax premiere of the watchmen.

I am so stoked for the watchmen you've got no clue. It looks like the BOMB! Now I know there is a giant hype machine behind it. And what I've read of the book I'm sure they can't fit all that crap in there. Especially the parts where all of a sudden it is done being a comic book and starts being a novel. Yeah its a really cool crossing of styles if you get a chance I think you will honestly dig it. I know, I know you're a little cooler than comic books but trust me its a little cooler than comic books too. You're perfect for each other.

In other wack news facebook is very user unfriendly. Look sure I'm on it. Just like I'm on myspace. And since myspace is sinking into the ocean that is the Internet I had to sell out to it. I don't have a ton of stuff up on it and everyone keeps trying to get me to do some sort of wack app. Yes I know its an all new low I used the word app. I know its not a word but it sort of gets used as one these days. So I hope you and I can talk about how awesome the watchmen is tomorrow night. Be good my Party People!

I Really Need to Order Food for Lunch!

Well Party Peeps its been one solid week thus far. As you know I did the disturbed show and then went back to the Showboat to watch dudes eat crayfish. And you'd say wow that's a pretty solid week but no that isn't all last night was the JSE Concert EVENT!!! mudvayne. That's right. I got over the House of Blues to do the set up and you sort of load in view this loading dock but I load in the same spot that the bands load in.

I guess when I got there is the same time they do that so I had to wait for a hand truck and all that. Fine, I went and got some super awesome food some sort of Honey Mustard Bacon sandwich. YES I KNOW I'M A FAN OF FOOD! Don't you judge me... When I finally got back it was 2:45 I had to have everything ready to go by 4. Let me tell you waiting for a hand truck and making my way through the underbelly of the House of Blues. It is a labyrinth! David Bowie and Minotaurs are everywhere. (Tell me you get those jokes?) Well either way its a hot mess and takes way to long to get from one side of the HOB to the other. Anyways everything got set up fine and the Morning Edge interviewed 2 of the cats from Mudvayne. We had a little meet and greet with the band. All in all pretty tight.

The one thing that leaves me a little sad I didn't get to meet Maria Brink from In This Moment.

She my friends is a stone cold fox! It is insane. I would've totally made a mixed cd for here and asked her out on a date! Good damn Man! With all that my week is still not done.

Tonight Moon and I will be hitting up the dubliner in Galloway. So you should come out say hi and get a beer with us. I mean I don't drink beer but still I'll time you? Till next blog party peeps keep it loud and keep it ROCKIN!

More Than Feeling...Less Than an Emotion?

Yesterday was Fat Tuesday and it was an amazingly long long LONG day. I had to go in and help out with the Morning Edge with Jojo and Scotty. Yes shut up you love them, you at least have a crush on Billy. So we did a live broadcast from the HoB in AC which was super fun. And the breakfast they served me was super tight. Egg and Pork Roll bagel. I'll take it!

The broadcast went super well and we hung out with professional eaters. And I saw one dude put down like 2 pounds of crayfish. His name was US Male and he broke one of those things and let me try it. In case you are wondering it was like a shrimp that takes more work. But you are supposed to suck the head out after you eat it. So I tried it and gross I guess is what I'd go with. Yes Crayfish at 8:30 in the morning not the best thing.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crayfish

Also on top of that the two girl that won the HOB Studio Suite dropped by and gave those wacky cats on the morning show a gift basket. Super nice of those two. They're pretty keen gals to say the least.

So needless to say the two girls that were in charge of wrangling the show Katie and Carol were the nicest as well. I mean super fun and just great people to chat it up with. Over all yesterday morning was great. But here in lies the problem. I stayed up from 8 the day before to do the show, then I stayed awake all through my show last night. So while I wasn't dying last night waking up today was like a kick in the face. Seriously. I am dead tired. So that's the sexy part of radio the awesome hours and the readjusting of your sleep pattern constantly. Each week I get a new one.

So sorry for the less than par blog party peeps. I'm just cleaned out.

Behold...Nah Nevermind its just a bunch of Christmas Lights in a Jar.

So the life of a radio DJ is something I dig. One of the big parts of that is going to concerts. Now sure the concert itself is a solid time but personally I love meeting people that listen to the station. It is super cool. And an excellent example of this is in fact the two wonderful listeners that won the Studio Suite we gave away for Sunday nights show. Christina and Meredith two super awesome gals were not only on board with winning but they took me and your go to guys each and every morning Jojo and Scotty. NO don't have a freak out party nothing awesome happened. They just showed us the room we hung out.

On top of that we got to meet the cats from Disturbed. Those guys were super cool. But once again the best part was how super stoked the listeners that won were to meet the guys from the band. I mean this is their favorite band! I can only tell this story of when I got to meet Gwen Stefani.

I'd known for 3 months that Gwen Stefani was coming to AC. So I started bugging the guy, Paul, I work with for tickets and since they all met her last time to meet her like other people have met people before. One because Gwen Stefani has been important in my life since like 7th grade. Two now that she is a solo act she has four stunning Asian girls that Dance for her. Just in case you don't know my 10 year plan it involves me falling in love with Asians and getting hitched to one or so.

I bugged and Bugged and BUGGED Paul to meet them and it came together!!! But before I left for the show I had one fancy project to make. I had to make 5 mixed Cds one for Gwen then one each for Love Angel Music and Baby. God they are so stunning for serious. So I slapped them together and here they are…

I put the Track listings my myspace address and my email on the cd covers. I doubt in the end anything would come of it but I figured I'd try. Now Paul and Sean thought that I would get the boot for giving the girls and Gwen the Cds so I was a little worried. Anyways I brought them because I need to take a chance. So after hellish traffic and a train(HONESTLY TRAINS? what is this the wild west?) in front of the tunnel. I made it to the casino with like 12 minutes to spare. I met up with Sean and I was Buzzing. The other people there to meet her from the station were looking at me like I was crazy and I was but honestly.

So I made some jokes about being super nervous and everyone thought I was weird unless they were Sean or Paul who totally get me. So my stomach was all butterflies. I mean sure there is a standard amount of butterflies when Mark Thompson is anywhere but this was crazy. I mean I was so excited so they brought is into some sort of storage bunker. Chairs and bottles of coke were stacked up. But I didn't care I was moments from meeting 5 of the things I love (1 being Gwen Stefani and the other 4 being any kind of Sexy Asian Girl.)

So still nervous the Bodyguard Curtis goes on first at how good we all look and I was the only person to thank him. This list of things you can and can't do. Like you can get Gwen to sign a couple of things. Like for example the press photo I got. Or as Paul brought the picture of him and Gwen. But we couldn't give a phone to Gwen we couldn't hug or kiss Gwen or the girls all these things would end things. He never said I couldn't give her anything so I was stoked. I pulled out all the Cds and they walked in the room and I lost it. They made there way around the room and I was loosing it. So Gwen came up first and I was shaking. And she signed the photo and I was like "Oh my God you're so amazing." Then I said I have this Mixed CD for you and she said "Thanks I hadn't gotten one since Gavin gave me one years ago." Then she said "Maybe I can work out to it." I told her I didn't know if it was that kind of music. Needless to say she was super nice and super cool.

Then the Girls came around and I was still losing it. I wanted them to sign my meet and greet pass but I couldn't even get that out. So I went to hand the first girl her CD and she went to sign it and I was like "No no it's a mixed cd for you." Then one asked if I was a DJ like if they were remixes or something and I said no that I was just a nerd that liked to pretend that I was 8th grade when I had a crush on a girl. Then I told them they were beautiful like 5 times. And gave each girl her mixed cd. I was shaking so bad and I said something about being a train wreck and they said that I was cute.

So then they made it around the room and everyone asked if I was alright and I wasn't that was the most excited I'd been since well since ever. I was so nervous and forgot things like to tell them their eyebrows were perfect. And that I loved their hair.

Then it came time for the picture and me and Sean got in it together. Gwen told me to get closer and I did and it was amazing then the girls looked back saw it was me and held up the Cds I gave them. OH my god that was nuts.

So when I was leaving they said they were going to look for me and I didn't know if I was even going to have a ticket. Then Paul tossed two tickets down onto the table and Matty ran into to see the opening act and I stayed out to talk to some other people I worked with about the happenings.

I got to meet Gwen and the Girls get my picture taken and give them mixed cds. Even if they never listen to them I gave them to them and even if they never email me I tried. But I have checked my email like a nerd 3 times a day since then. But here is to hoping they do. I'm sure I forgot something but the excitement just drove me out of my mind and I seem to have blacked out some great moments.

This proving I get how cool it is meeting someone that means the world to you. Hence my excitement to give people a chance to be as big a train wreck as I was that night.

The Cookie Monster is a Sell Out Kids have NO HOPE!

So what makes a weekend I guess is the question one should ask?

For me it usually has something to do with watching college football. But since the season is over my weekends become filled with actually stuff to do. For example this Saturday I got to be sick and watch an awesome Sci Fi Original. Showdown at Area 51 is an amazing piece of movie magic that is sure to delite the soul. See I don't know if you know how the Sci Fi channel works on Saturday but here is the break down. If they have new movie coming that fits one of the many themes they can make they fill the whole day with said them. If it is Zombies or Natural Disasters or in the case of this last Saturday Aliens. Showdown at Area 51 was the lead into the Sci Fi orginal premire of AVH: Alien vs Hunter.

Watch a Sci Fi orginal movie and you will suddenly become impowered with the idea that you could write a movie. I think this all the time. I could totally make a Sci Fi Orginal happen. I mean how much money do you think you get for a Sci Fi orginal? Even if it was a thousand dollars I'd totally take it! But I'd have to think its more.

Back to what I was trying to say Showdown at Area 51 is what I think pushed me to think I could make one again. Here check out its IMDB page

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0854667/

Its awful and should make you want to make your own movie.

I've Been Waiting ALL Winter to Wear My Camo Shorts!

First off my titles of my blogs will hardly ever have to do with anything in them. So get used to that it should make your life a little easier. Then again if you're reading my blog your life must be pretty easy going to start with.

Now let's see what was I going to bother you with today. I guess I'll go with the fact that the fact that downloadable content is out for GTA 4 and I have yet to get my hands on this. Why in fact is that a bummer? Because people seem to think its pretty cool. The reason is I am so lazy and won't go out and buy and Xbox live card. I mean I have a ten dollar card for best buy so thats a win but NOPE I won't be driving there to get it. Mostly because I'm a jerk but partial because I'm obsessed with Mass Effect.

My brother was looking through a pile of used xbox and xbox 360 games and came across Mass Effect, a game that was up for a lot of peoples game of the year, for 15 bucks! I mean its in the top 15 Xbox 360 games on metacritic.

http://www.metacritic.com/games/xbox360/

Its over on the right hand side. GO LOOK I'll wait...Come on Halo 3 and CoD 4 aren't going to be 15 dollars anytime soon. So this my friends is a steal. I've spent like 15 hours on it so far and its the BOMB(I say the bomb still don't you judge me). So that being said if you have an xbox 360 which most people seem to have these days get your hands on this sexy jawnt of goodly goodness! It is super tight. Well until next blog keep it loud and keep it rocking party peeps.

What Is Up Jerks!

That's right party people I am Mark Thompson from 102.7 JSE Rocks. Not that I live the most epic of lives but I am still going to write about it. That's right. If some fat 14 year old girl from Ohio can blog about stuff in her life so can a fat bearded guy with a mohawk! What will I write about. Mixed Cd's, girls not dating me, the misadventures of all the things I do at a radio station, and things I find on the Internet. For example...

This is the guy from MST3K and he as taken on the task of consuming nothing but bacon for a whole month. I mean seriously this is one of the best worst things I've ever seen in my life! And the shame is when ever bacon comes up in life I wonder about Mike and his life. How often does bacon come up in the course of my day? Enough DON"T YOU JUDGE ME! Either way check it out with me and enjoy the power of Mike Nelson and his voyage in bacon!
